New Accessorize purchases

Merged eyeshadow in Molten Copper

I love Accessorize make-up products, and only wish I had discovered them sooner as not only do they have some really nice products available, I find them super affordable too.  The first product is a gorgeous merged eyeshadow in the colour 'Molten Copper'.  It is a swirly mish mash of gold, bronze and deep brown tones, which when applied, create a lovely summery rust colour.  The shadow also has just the right amount of shimmer, and is easily buildable, meaning you can either sweep across a light amount for a cute daytime look, or build it up for a super glamorous evening eye.  And at for only £2.95 you really do get a lot of product, which is always good!

The second product to catch my eye was the bronzing blocks, primarily due to their super cute packaging.

Wearing Molten Copper on eyes and Bronzing Block shade 3 on cheeks

After getting over how nice the pattern of the box was, I opted for shade 3.  Even though it is called a bronzing block, it is definitely a blusher. It applies really well and has just the slightest amount of shimmer, which gives a subtle glowy look to the skin.  I think it's an ideal product for the summer, and being quite peachy toned it would look great with a tan.

For me the only slight negative is the cardboard packaging.  Despite the fact that I love the leopard print, I find the box style a little difficult to fit into my make-up bag. However for £3.95, I can deal with that!

17 Lasting Fix polish in Orange Soda

I have been a massive fan of 17 products for a while now, particularly their nail polishes and lip products. The Lasting Fix range remains a permanent fixture in my polish collection, with 'Woo Me' being my favourite colour which I wear most of the time.

When having a mooch in Boots the other day I was drawn to this bright orange colour, one which I hadn't seen before in my local Boots, and I just had to have it. I have been uuming and ahhing over Model's Own's "Beach Party" but being a bit of a wuss when it comes to neon, I haven't managed to persuade myself to purchase it!  So when I spotted "Orange Soda", it felt like the ideal choice for someone like myself wanting to try a bit of the bright side but without going all out neon.

As I have found with all my other Lasting Fix polishes, the finish is great, two coats provide a great colour, and the polish is super quick drying too - bonus for those like me who are super impatient when it comes to waiting for their nails to dry!

Part of the 'Candy Collection', this polish is a steal at £2.99. I have my eye on 'Sherbert Lemon', will definitely try and pick one up next time I'm in Boots!

Here we go...

So here I am, starting a blog which I have longed to do for a while now.  I guess lack of confidence has prevented me from creating my own blog in the past, even though I have started blogs countless times, I've just never followed through with them! So here's hoping this will work out better for me.

A bit about me. My name is Steph, but I spell it 'Steff' on here as I think it's a lil' bit different! The 'B' stands for the first letter of my surname and the 'X', well that's just a little kiss for you all haha. I am 22, have just finished Uni and have a real love for fashion, make-up, hair and beauty. So that's what this blog will consist of!

I won't rabbit on too much as I am eager to get started, so, here we go!
